Evergreen Discount Liquors is the largest wine, beer, and spirits store in The Evergreen Mountain Community. Our goal is to maintain and offer the best selection and prices west of Denver. We have been serving you in this community for over 50 years as “Evergreen Drug Company.”
Evergreen Drug Company was an important institution in the history of Evergreen. It was purchased by Edward Skaff when it was still in its Main Street location (presently occupied by The Little Bear). From 1963 to 1974 the store was relocated to the Hiwan Village Shopping Center, next to Safeway and the Post Office. Evergreen Drug Company moved with Safeway to their present location in 1974. Edward Skaff’s goal was to make Evergreen Drug Company “The Best Store of its Kind.” He stocked the store with every kind of merchandise, including many items that the customer desired or suggested, making it a fun, unique place to shop. Greg Thomas is the current owner and his goals have not changed even though the liquor store has been enlarged. You will be pleased to see the large selection of wine, beer, and spirits from around the world.
